FIRST SAW THIS RUIN WHEN MY DAD TOOK ME FOR MY FIRST WALK ALONG THE CANAL, THAT WAS FORTY-TWO YEARS AGO AND IT HASN'T CHANGED A BIT
My grandfather looked after the horses and stables on this site. It is called Botany Bay Yard and my grandfather lived in canal cottage which is no longer there. My mum remembers helping with the horse although she was only 5 when granddad died.This was in the late 1920/30s
