(TLC = Tender Loving Care)
This house is occupied by an old gent who has lived here since age of 4. His father was the line engineer. The old chap stuggles to keep his independence and to care for his house on very limited means. He was hurt to see his house described as in need of TLC. The term TLC is subjective. One has to ask by what standard is the property being judged as in need of TLC? Who sets these standards?
