03/08/12. concrete fencing around what was Star Paper no longer there. Seen many deer in the woodland here whilst out running. Keep your eyes peeled.

This concrete fence is not a bad thing, as mentioned in previous comment it was there for a reason. Old industry. Why make out that the canal walk around Blackburn is nothing but a disappointment. As with many canals going through towns you will see graffiti, old industrial fences, mills etc and modern housing. There is absolutley nothing wrong with the walk along this stretch of canal. The walkers who have posted this must have a hate for Blackburn.
