Researching my Grandmother Webster-MacLeod, I came across her Grandfather's younger brother Thomas Webster in the 1861 Census working here as a Farm Servant, aged 13.
He went from this farm to work as a Boatman on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal to the end of the nineteenth century, along with his brothers and his father who all worked on the Canal.
